Special Programs for Students from Our Partner Universities

Undergraduate / Graduate Course

*excluding the faculties of Regional Studies, Informatics, Human Sciences, and International Studies

This course is designed for students with JLPT N2 or higher. Students can earn credits by taking classes for at least seven subjects a week: mainly special and general subjects taught in Japanese. Students also take Japanese language classes for international exchange students and subjects for international students.

Engineering Research Exchange Program

This program is designed for graduate students who are studying engineering. Students do research activities with Japanese TGU students and belong to a laboratory for a field of the Department of Engineering of TGU. Students can learn in subjects offered by the graduate schools and can learn in Japanese language classes for international exchange students.

Japan Study Program

This program is designed for students who have obtained JLPT N3 or higher language proficiency and who aim at further improving their Japanese language skills and understanding of Japanese culture. According to the results of a Japanese level proficiency test, students take Japanese language classes that are suitable to their Japanese proficiency and subjects along with international students at least seven subjects a week.

Economics and Japanese Program

This program is for students who study Economics and the Japanese language. Students take three small special subjects (seminars in English) that deal with economics, attending with Japanese students, and four or more subjects from Japanese language classes for international exchange students, subjects for international students, and general subjects.
